Maybe it's the pictures themselves, but I just don't get what's going on in those pictures. the helmets are from a company called pig iron productions, i decided i wanted my land speeder storm scouts to be special.. and i put in a little nod to health and safety therefore they all wear helmets and thier chainswords have hazard stripes :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's a cool idea and I like that a lot. I guess I'm just not a fan of the helmets themselves. I like the fact that with the Power Armoured torsos you can have more posing freedom and might have to steal the idea for at least a few of my Wolfy scouts. Keep it up! I typically prefer Ultramarines in a darker colour scheme but I think you pull off the blue well. the flash makes it look a little brighter, but i used to use enchanted blue, which made my guys look the colour of blue tac.. im now using ultramrines blue, although if i were to start again id use regal blue which has a slightly darker tone than ultras blue Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ktan Posted February 27, 2011 Share Posted February 27, 2011 I love the Pig Iron heads. Might look into them for future Scout Squads. Same can be said for the baldy heads. They look an awful lot more intimidating than the rosy faced youths that the current plastics have. I find the standard scout faces a pain to paint anyway. They seem too flat, almost. I've found the shouting Cadian sergeant head with the headset looks awesome on Scout sergeants too.
