Your weathering techniques are incredible. It pains me to say that the cowardly Marines Malevolent are looking awesome ^_^

Some more finished Marines and the Stormhawk with its finished base. Three of the Marines have been posted before but since then I have changed the colour of the helmets,so thought I would post them up.

Does that Stormplane fall over much? Or is it seriously front-heavy?

:P The base is heavy...ish and the stand fits in to the Stormhawk well! So no fall over!! ;)

Oh and I faced the stand the wrong way! :D

Thanks Chaps!!

When I do my weathering I imagine what parts of the vehicle would come into contact with rocks...debris and whatnot.

Do a spot of sponging, use the sponge like a brush to "dry brush" then dry brushing and blend dark to light, especially on the raised edges.

Hope that makes sense.

Awesome Work!

As for the yellow "Blood Angels" gems... I could easily see the Marines Malevolent taking Eldar soulstones as grim trophies from the vile xenos. The yellow is from the souls rotting.

Keep up the Emperor's Fine Works! :)
