I will be aim to attend the Throne of Skulls in April along with my 40k double (Feb) team mate as he want to try enter as many tournament as he can. Throne of Skull in April on the 16th & 17th of April, ticket go on sale 4th Jan (Tue). I will be going with my Space Wolves again, did not like have four mission as spearhead, so hopeful Russ & the All father will favour me with a pitch battle set up or Dawn of War, along with Kill point mission that least :) But again aim for go down with my 40k double team mate. I'll be taken my Space Wolves again, unsure if I change anything in the list as I enjoy how it plays in games. If anything I might replace a model or two due to new conversions. Mmmm You could go Black Templars :) Was really gutted to see one BT army that the ToS in Nov. Fastest I ever had a mail order arrive, usely three days to two weeks. Ticket No's are 101 & 102 for me & my friend. If all gose well, would be aim to be there on the Fri afternoon, try get a game vs my friend then hopeful hang around a bit more to get a few games vs other I know who are attending. I do need to get 2 Landspeeders painted from scratch mind! Best get cracking then! 4 Landspeeders in my Ultramarines 5th Company list (2 Typhoons and 2 MM/HF 'Speeders), along with my usual Honour Guard and 30 Tactical squads, though only a single Dreadnought this time ;) What about everyone else? Only a few new models to add some sub theme for each model base on brillaint games I had over the year with my Space Wolves. So far Models Mange to repair models that got broken during the 40k double tournament. Just need a day or two to tide them up. Going to make a new Grey Hunter arm w/Power Weapon for one of my Razorback unit. Give him a Bloodletter head (torn one from Grey Knight) as a trophie as ToS Nov, just how bloody that Round 2 was vs the Khorne Daemon army. Game wise Hope to battle Ultramarines on Sat. 26th of March it'll ether be Tau or Deathing. Need to try get some games vs my friend who also going to ToS April. Then GT time. Leave here on the Fri moring, drop stuff off that the hotel. Get into Warhammer World & grab some food. Get a game vs my friend, then get more food. Then try get some more games. If anyone up for a game just let me know. Sure my friend will also be happy to try get some more games while down there as well on the Fri. As said my SW are the same as Nov in term of list as I really like how it plays. Pretty much Rune Priest, 2x Dreadnought, 4 Wolf Guards, Grey Hunter mounted in Rhino, three unit of Grey Hunter mounted in Razorbacks & two Land Speeder. As said my Space Wolves will be the dark grey power armour, Black helmets. Also have Legion of the Damned object marker, extra armour on tanks made from plasticard & Predators turret on the Razorback as it just look cool & more tank wise. Like wise has a lot of trophies base on my local GW manger nids & ork base on my first game with the Wolves where I slaughter them when I was out number 5:1. Dreadknight are fast to paint, can easily get two painted in a single day. I think be more play testing side since people will have had two weeks or use store copy in store. But it would be cool to see some GK armies that the GT to get some idea for my own. Just got back into gaming this week after a few week off after 40k doubles. Wed vs my friend who attend ToS. Made one big mistake, learnt from it which is the main thing. I like his list, really stand out in term of gaming, I think his changies to the list are a great welcome. Thur vs Necron, one Necron from a phase out....!!! ;) But great game, good laught. I think my friend hate me for steal first turn & immobile his Monlith on turn 1. Though not really practise, had a great 3000pts game with the Wolves, being tournament list & my Wolf Wing force. Very blood draw. Just got one Grey Hunter left to get done & I am good to go. Just made a new Grey hunter model due to conversion idea & it not a tournament if your not painting near the event. Really happy with how the Space Wolves are looking. Lot of model has changies since the Nov Throne of Skulls due to new idea for conversion or people being careless around my models. Ment to be battle Ultramarine this Thur & then possible another Ultramarine player Thur before GT. Fri day before the GT battle sgt campbell & his sister of battle since it been a while from our last game. Then possible battle Adam R from these fourms if he up for a game?. Can't wait, alway enjoy going down to Nottingham & into Warhammer World. Just looking forward to a weekend of 40k games. So is everone ready or near enough?? I look forward to seeing what changies the event team has done since Nov Throne of Skulls. Most of all I am happy they roll for mission. Just as long as we only get one spearhead & the rest mainly pitch battle, dawn of war & kill point mission I'll be happy. Nov ToS I fought four mission set up as spearhead which dose sort of kick my army in a little bit. Mission I fought in nov ToS where the d3+2 object & the one object each, never fought a single Kill points other than the practise game I had the Fri before ToS Nov. Whole event went really nicely, it top of any GW Event I been to. If they add hot girl it be a dream come true. Five brillaint tournament games, two brillaint practise game. My friend winning with Sister of battle & look on his face when hear his name was pricless (Sarg campbell on these fourm) he was shock. Well done as his army great & he been work on them solid.
