Your crisp clean style Is what I aim for in my work but can't get close to what you do. Have you ever done a step by step guide to painting power armour. It's something I would love to see. Do you use an air brush at all. Keep up the great work.

I don't own an air brush yet sadly,I do really want one though!

And I keep meaning to do a guide, but I never really get time to do one. :(

And I am glad you like my stuff, I really appreciate the comments! :D

Thanks M0nolith!

I am quite happy with how Lorgar turned out. I managed to spend a good amount of time on him!

Shame the spawn look a bit :cuss, but I don't have the time to spend ages on every model :(

Love the image! :D

And I agree.

There are two things that dont sit too well with me on this mini. The face and the weapon. The weapon seems too small. I was so tempted to convert him, but because it was limited release, I wanted to keep him "pure".

The miniature looks awesome. I was about to comment on how he looks weird because he has red armour yet looks uncorrupted, but since you wanted to keep him pure, I understand. Maybe add some glowing runes or something like that.

When I do the legion symbol on his shoulder pad I may add some colchisian runes to him. But I just quite like the clean lines of the armour. I get the impression that, whilst he believes in his primarch and his teachings, this guy looks like he doesn't much care for rituals and gods. He just really really like fighting.

Yeah I think it's because it's at that awkward halfway in-between a sword and a halberd/naginata, either you want a longer blade and shorter handle to reinforce the "sword" image or the reversed, a shorter blade and longer handle to reinforce the halberd/naginata.

Other than that, which is a problem with the sculpt itself, you've accomplished a superb paintjob! I really, really like the crisp red highlights :biggrin.:

Interesting to know!

I've seen some really interesting conversions where the weapon has been turned into a thunder hammer and such. I have a second one, so who knows! :D

Oooh. Looks interesting. I still don't like the weapon all that much, but it's nice to have some context to put it into! :D

Need to work on the Fire Raptor but I never seem to have much time at the moment!

Very interesting to see him in word bearers colors... Honestly don't think he fits at all! Tahah! Fantastic paint job as usual though! You just get better and better... Plateau-out for pete's sake- you're making us all look bad!

Jokes aside, I really hope the 2nd one will be an ultra! Great work, man!

Couple of pics I took from the game I had last night at the wardens of the north gaming club! The twenty pence is the relic, from the mission of "the relic"!

I only had four minis left at the end of the game, the nids had two. A Flyrant and a Mawloc.

The nid player was using the new cultists. They have a lot of rending attacks which means not a great deal against my spawn, but because they are all fearless the sheer volume of models they have basically means they will do enough wounds to kill me off eventually.

Luckily I got Invisibility on both my sorcerers, so it mitigated the large amounts of dice being thrown!
