Tzen Posted April 7, 2011 Author Share Posted April 7, 2011 Well, I think the key to gettign GS to do what you want is to use water to lubricate it. You can also shave or cut any GS once its dried to get a sharper edge. But its really the water thing. I didnt shave or cut that much or at all if i remember correctly. How can GW not look at a stunning army like this and think, 'Yea, we need to do a new Chaos codex'??? I love the dread like everyone else, and Astrorath (?) is a great conversion, simple but well executed. I also appreciate how close you've kept your red tones. The two things kinda go together. If you check my daemon prince, he has quite a lavish base. Where as most other things don't. The reasons behind it are that, the bigger the base, the more work I've tried to put into it. I plan on going back to all the bases in my army and putting extra things on them once the army is done. This leads to the pic of the army as a whole. Once I have finished off the last few minis, and once the bases are totally done, I'm going to then try and take some decent pictures of the whole army together :lol: I also kept in mind that my main gaming surface is grass/desert, so I wanted my army to fit in nicely with that too! ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lovely for other things, not so much toy soldiers! :) Just a rhino and Great unclean one to go!
