(Though the Raven Guard tends to use camouflage, meaning their armor is hardly ever black, anyways.) 2) Declare to the galaxy the Traitor Marines are cowards whose armor will be stained brown as their bowels loosen in terror, knowing the Emperor's black armored executioners are coming for them. Those Astra Militarum guardsmen and Adeptus Mechanicus Skitarii? They're Chapter serfs now. Those Astra Militarum tanks and Adeptus Mechanicus dunecrawlers? They're variants the Adeptus Mechanicus developed at the Black Templars' request, so no enemy will ever outgun the Emperor's Champions. Those Space Wolves and Blood Angels? They're allies who were granted the honor of wearing Black Templars colors, privileged to fight with Black Templars Chapter Tactics at the side of actual Black Templars. Those Chaos Space Marines and xenos? In my fluff the BT's need a little extra boost so they have requisitioned some tanks, and some techies to run said tanks for them. It just turned out a bunch were Chimeras and had people inside. (I prefer Chaos Terminators, but a loyalist shouldn't be too picky- all enemies of the Imperium deserve death and destruction.) The Chaplain grips one of the Daemon/traitor/witch/xeno's disembodied legs- it counts as a crozius that inflicts -1 Leadership on enemies who face the Chaplain in close combat- the other hand grips a sword, as no Black Templar will be caught dead without a blade.
