Grotsmasha Posted September 15, 2011 Share Posted September 15, 2011 Your painting skills are great, but modeling wise there's nothing screaming "Pre-Heresy" to me. Aquilas on bolters and the Land Speeder, death masks, and Death Company are all post-Heresy things. I'm also not sure about the Grey Knights Terminator legs, the mention of Titan in particular. The models are well done and the painting is, again, great. I just don't see the Pre-Heresy part. Read the text guys instead of just looking at the pretty pictures (I know, I know, they are pretty :) ), these are stated by the OP as Scoureing Era BA, so this means POST Heresy. Back on-topic, these are some of the nicest minis I've seen, and though I am an Imperial through and through, I have to agree we NEED more of your Night Lords. Just got back from Throne of Skulls and i must say i had a great time,one of the best events i have attented.5 smashing games with great opponents, met up with a bunch of people from B&C and we had great fun.I had 3 wins,1 draw and 1 loss but still managed to walk away with the Best Blood Angels Player and Best Army awards,woohoo! Our B&C team also won the Saturday night quiz and took the Heroes of the Imperium award.Finally, Terminator squad Leonis got a Most Infamous Unit award! DaemonPrinceDargor Posted October 17, 2011 Author Share Posted October 17, 2011 The armour is basically blood red.I build it up from black undercoat to mechrite red and then many thin layers of Blood red.Shade with Scorched brown.The highlight is 1 part blood red,1 part Dwarf flesh a little white for highlights and then i add more white for fine highlights.After that, a glaze of Baal red to tie it all up.
