Thankfully it's your own thread you've brought up from the past :)

Great work on your models, I'd really like to see any further pictures of your Brother Bellerophon, Lemartes counts as, if you have any please? Your original pictures were blurred and I had never saw this thread before (I've been in slumber ^^).

Nice restorations bud, awesome paint jobs :) Student or not, wrestling money out of GW's hands is always a good thing, lol

Like you, I had thought of adding in a few squads for the different successors. I had decided against it, but may give it a bit more thought.

Looking forward to seeing your vow pieces :)

EDIT: Silly auto correct phone...

Those are fantastic! Great work. Where did you get those helmets for the scouts? I really like the more camouflaged look you have them -- I eagerly await pics from your good camera.

Really like the Space Hulk terminators, too. Lots if detail there and I think you did the scrolls/purity seals especially well.

Well it's just over a year since I updated this thread but I've finally gotten round to taking some new photos and the army has certainly grown over the last twelve months. First up a mandatory army shot:

Everything there except the DV models, a few characters and Death Company are reclaimed models that have been stripped, repaired with copious bits and greenstuff and pressed back into service. I'm pretty pleased with how they've come back. I'm a total butterfly who gets distracted between projects easily so many of the "finished" minis still need bases or small details adding. I'll do some squad shots at some stage if people are interested but for now here's some characters I've been working on:

Really like these!

For reason the guy with the heavy flamer in particular really catches my eye.

With the termies- is the black just edge highlighted or have you done something else? Looks really good and black is something that I really want to improve on in my own painting :)

Hi Corvus, thanks for the feedback. The black is really simple. I just do a basecoat of equal parts chaos black and valejo black grey, then edge highlight shadow grey an give the whole thing a wash of Nuln oil. In contrast the red takes about six stages, but all that edge highlighting is still a pain!
