Chaptermaster Graymantle Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 Sounds interesting, and a good take on the events. Epic is good of course, but i think the whole save galaxy idea is abit much. Tonned down a wee bit, i think it works. Elements being incorporated is very do-able Nice pic of the swans, i expect you''ll be inundated with requests for more. :) The save the galaxy plot was devised due to the fact that this thing was supposed to run across several segmentums and sectors/sub-sectors, but naturally you should do what you feel is fitting. :) Thank you in regards to the swans. I don't really get why they would have blue chests. - Any reason? Anyway, as I'm to late for my Guardian Angels to really be a part of this project, I don't think I will be doing any more images for the Swans. - Just thought they were interesting. I read through your IA (both that I could find) and saw a mention of a Guardian Angels Chapter in there. - Can't say I noted a link though. I found your writing good and your ideas interesting. I would say the GE are borderline Chaos though, but a very cool Chapter. The GA would certainly not tolerate their behaviour, but I also find it odd that you think they would leave a planet with an incapable government; in fact the GA have overthrown the government on their own Home World twice due to them not doing a good enough job. - The again, I haven't published their extensive history yet, so there was really no way for you to know that. Also, the GA weren't really around in M37, the idea of their organization was first introduced before the Horus Heresy, but the first inklings of their organization was first reintroduced to the Imperium by the Inquisition in 792.M39. They were not introduced as an actual Chapter founding until the 26th founding in 738.M41. - The GA actually have a very advanced history before the 26th founding (which is hinted at on their web site), but not as a Chapter and it's complicated. As I haven't released their history yet though, there was no way for you to know that either. Then again there have been other people trying the Guardian Angels name on since I originally started them many years ago, so I'm sure there could have been other Imperial organizations around in M37 by the same name. The GA website hasn't had any main news updates in years, but the site has had the odd update here and there. Some of this is related to the Nestir V Campaign which I've been running here on the B&C, and the most recent one was the 101-days Campaign, which I also ran here on the B&C, and which was concluded last month.
