Once the TS's had been soul-bound, the Emperor assigned some Custodes to "keep an eye on" Magnus and his sons. This got me to thinking, what if, due to the heresy, that order was never recinded? So along this vein of thought I present to you a WIP Custode on Jetbike, yep, that's right jetbike!!! So my base model was the SF Roman Centurion from Scibor Monstrous Miniatures I then cut through the torso below the belt, then cut a wedge, the full height, out of the middle of the legs getting me to this stage: I've also kitbashed a really cool Custode halbred, inspired by a pic in the Horus Heresy art books All it needs is to have the barrels reattached. Next on the hit-list is to resculpt robed thighs, followed by working out how in the hell I'm gunna get him to hold the handle bar. I have enough jetbikes and SF Romans to make a full squad of 5 jetbike mounted Custodes, wish me luck.
