Jimmy Carmine Posted June 16, 2011 Share Posted June 16, 2011 My Wolf Pack boxset arrived in the post yesterday, I've not built any Wolves since the 3rd Edition plastics and was pleasantly suprised at how much you get in the set. One nights WIP on Redpelt dry built using blutack to hold him together. I've built him with the Death Company power fist and the Wolf Pack power sword to represent the Force Blade Dausvjer and Helfist's power fist to give the idea that he is arming himself in memory of his dead packmates. Built up a 40mm base with cardboard and coated it in some textured paint to make a slope for Redpelt to come charging down, sword outstretched and fist cocked for a deadly haymaker blow. http://jim028.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/redpeltwip1.jpghttp://jim028.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/redpeltwip2.jpg As my hands have too much of a tremor for freehanding runes with a brush I've ordered a 0.05 micron pen, the plan being to add these two sets of runes to the weapons. http://jim028.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/redpeltwip3.jpg Helfist for the power fist over the knuckles and Dausvjer down the blade. We will see how well that plan works out. :lol: EDIT: One of my friends has my copy of Battle of the Fang so I can't double check this to see if I am right. I've got it in my head that Jarl Greyloc's badge was the Two-headed Wolf Morkai, hence the choice of chest piece. can anyone here remember if that that is right or am I mistaken? If it is, I'd like to read it. not that i can recall immediatly, but since we only have 3 dexes so far i take those books as canon material to how our chapter rituals,customs etc are. if you only chose to adhere to the codexes ragnar even never became a wolf blade yet most of us take this for canon. and those scouts look good kassil, does the third one from the left have a sculpted beard? i really look the looks of him! any chance for some close ups!
