OK. Hope this turns out. I don't do this very much & I have just a basic camera but I hope things are good enough so you get the general idea. hope it helps.

Looks great Rift Blade! Thanks for the idea. msn-wink.gif

Can't you see what you have wrought here?

Bloody battles will be fought here

May the mountains rise against you

May the forests block your path

May your axes chip and shatter

And know it is my wrath

I would mount your heads on bloody spears

Outside your palace gates

And watch as crows pick out your eyes

And your cities laid to waste

Can't you see what you have wrought here?

A curse on you and all your kin

Bloody battles will be fought here

Await your doom at empire's end

May the rivers rush to drown you

May the earth swallow your hosts

May the winter's wolves surround you

And rip the life from your throats

Hail Brothers (and sisters!)! Just wanted to update this with some current WIP's. Unfortunately after many moves and many mishaps my Mythicast wolves are boxed away and broken. Too many mishaps and they've become quite brittle/delicate. The only survivor is my Iron Priest and the cyber/Fen wolves. SO went out the other day and got some reinforcements.

I like this Thunderwolf kit a lot. Only complaints are the gaps in the heads and the one pose where he is only on two feet. I forsee this guy being a problem later....

Otherwise awesome kit, awesome bits. I picked up a starter airbrush kit as well, hope to practice on them soon. Also worked on a few Grey Hunters from way back when. Hope to finish that unit off soon.

@Fyth: Thanks! Your thread really inspired me to get back to work on my Wolves.

@RpR: Yes! \m/ Always nice to meet a fellow Sword fan! And thanks, glad it works!

Well, I didn't get quite as much done as I had hoped. Spent probably an hour and half just setting up and trying to figure this compressor out. Took me a while to get the regulator just right. Even after all that the hose leaks... furious.gif

http://i785.photobucket.com/albums/yy134/Kassill1/11215191_10207252309567891_4584676966591683607_n_zpspfublkl7.jpg

Only got the basecoat down, didn't get to the Fen wolves.

http://i785.photobucket.com/albums/yy134/Kassill1/IMG_20150912_220813161_zps9nih3alz.jpg

And as you can see, one of the leapy T-wolves fell over and off the base while spraying.... dry.png

And to top off the fail train of tonight, while reading the instructions on cleaning the brush I misread which nut to unscrew and suddenly the guts fell out, so spent probably another hour and half trying to clean/put it all back in. Still not confident they're all right where they're supposed to be but when I shot clean air through the trigger seemed to work alright... Find out tomorrow!

But all was not lost! The mail lady brought me something special today!

Hopefully get more work done tomorrow after I finish some school stuff msn-wink.gif

Thanks Dantay. At the moment I'm milking the last two bottle of Adeptus Battlegrey I have in my stock. Will soon have to switch to whatever the equivalent is (Mechanicus?)

I've actually looked at that option. Army Painter "might" have a close match, no guarantees. I'll probably be hitting mine with the airbrush now.

More progress. Spent more time today thinning and mixing paints than actually painting but this was the result. First few steps in hopefully a cool look for the Thunderwolves (based off of NextLevelPainting's T-wolf video)

Thanks fellas! msn-wink.gif

Well the mail person surprised me again! Estimated delivery for new compressor/brush was next week! (After discussion in the PCA area I returned the MasterAirbrush kit and bought an Iwata NEO and a separate compressor for just a bit more than the MA kit cost)

http://i785.photobucket.com/albums/yy134/Kassill1/12042724_10207290806690295_7834588968481605201_n_zpshlpaagx4.jpg

Just a drybrush, then the details, riders and bases to do!

Sat down and did the detail bits on the Thunderwolves today. Lots of little things to miss on these guys.

Also primed some of the riders. Hopefully start working on them some tomorrow.

Thanks man! Yeah, really enjoy airbrushing so far. FYI for anyone wondering the airbrush I originally got was a master brand one. Don't bother. Shell out the 20 or so more for the Iwata NEO if you're looking for an intro brush. The Master brand little compressor however works like a charm.

Casual weekend modelling results. Was pretty grim and rainy all weekend so spent most of my time doing this or watching some netflix (finally caught up on Season 1 of Gotham!).

Early WIP of the Wolf Guard Riders and Wolf Lord

http://i785.photobucket.com/albums/yy134/Kassill1/IMG_20151005_105007196_zps4kh5lkcf.jpg

Between working on them I got a Vindicator assembled and my Wolf Priest prepped for painting

http://i785.photobucket.com/albums/yy134/Kassill1/IMG_20151005_105013090_HDR_zpskgjtpscb.jpg

While I had the airbrush going for the Wolf Guard I hit a rhino just to see how it looked. Pretty happy. Might go over a few areas one more time before moving on to detail work

http://i785.photobucket.com/albums/yy134/Kassill1/IMG_20151005_104756390_zps8axixxw9.jpg

And then I got loots!

http://i785.photobucket.com/albums/yy134/Kassill1/IMG_20151005_104656221_HDR_zpsbe3slqwg.jpg

Between re-reading PB currently and Battle of the Fang, I have some good inspiration lined up.

Question, the two audio discs, where do they line up in the HH timeline? Anyone got a chart or something?

Also got a great deal on some brand new SW Terminators still on the sprue and got some 1/8 x 1/32 magnets in, so look for those in the hopefully not terribly distant future.
