I'm with marshal on this one, the sword looks just a little bit too chaos to fit with a salamander. All their wargear is unique for sure, but it's also all finely crafted and well looked after, that sword looks neither.

 

Other than that though, top work, the NMM on Vulkan looks great!

The Angry Marine is cool. I'm not one of those people who looks to be offended but I would have used a different epithet on the chainsword. The generic insults are one thing, but using a slur against an IRL group goes over the line a bit. I know where Angry Marines come from because I'm there all the time too, so it's not like I'm a Mr. Sensitive, even in polite company a certain level of crudeness is OK when it's as funny as /tg/'s favorite chapter is, but the word faggot and the way it's used is too loaded, even in a humorous not-to-be-taken-seriously intent, for me to not comment on.

But enough excuses! I've written my self out an actual army list as a guideline for the collection, so I thought I'd share that as an attempt at an update.

Nice Salamanders. I particularly like the lava effect on the chaplains crozius and some of your hammers. Excellent use of the dwarf hammer bitz too.

 

Just to let you know your link to your Iron Warrior blog just comes up with a single picture of your cultist squad rather than the whole plog. Fix it quick as what you have got going on over there is equally brilliant.
