Very nice conversion...though I guess with the Eldarish looking weapon, the Ordo Xenos may want to have a talk with him. 2. I really like your posing. Your guys always look like they are rushing in to deliver the pain. First rate. Also, that's an excellent use of bits for your psycannon. Very unique. 3. Dread bodies are very nice, and the terrible towel between the legs is a nice touch. 4. How do you intend to do the techpriest? I'm curious to see what his colors end up being (e.g. red armor, red robes, gold armor, etc.) 5. Dread arms...I think they are sticking out a tad too much. I can see what you did and I think the magnetization is an excellent idea, but is it possible to countersink the magnets attached to the body? It may just be the picture, but they seem a bit out there. Excellent (and embarrassingly quick) work on your vow. Cheers, 1. Yeah I know what you mean dude. the weapon is a little Eldarish but the way I see it is Eristede Kell is mean't to be unique so I imagined his rifle to look unique aswell considering he's the main Vindicare Assassin. 2. The Psycannon Paladins were an idea I had in my head well before I started the project and ever since I converted them everyone has said they look ace and I mentioned before I wanted to make each one of the Custodes different to the other but theres only so much posing you can do without tons of conversion work but I'm very happy with they've turned out. 3. I know exactly what your saying and I finished way ahead of the LPC and I still have a few details here and there to add to them and if you can recognise the cloth between their legs then you'll be surprised what they were to begin with. 4. The Techmarine will probably have gold armour with red robes, the only reason hes in the army is to throw Psykostroke Grenades in melee and stop me getting my Paladins killed by Instant Death. 5. I dunno why they look as though they are sticking out, it's definitely the angle of the photos because thats the thing I was concerned about. I need to pick up more PVA glue since I ran out at the worst possible time. :) I changed the weapon on the Techmarine to an axe since the power sword didn't really suit him. I forgot to add my objective markers I made in an earlier post. I got the inspiration from The First Heretic artwork and made 3 bases with dead Word Bearers to fit with the idea of an all Custodes force. I am gonna change the Emperors sword for a bigger one I think as possibly add flames to get it more in line with the artwork. Cheers, Your the only person who noticed the reference on the markers and that's exactly why I did them, I just had to have Word Bearers on the bases. The army looks good and I've put pictures on various forums to show it off, I've no further plans to expand the army yet but I have been on eBay and bought some parts to convert another Paladin so i have 20 of them. I also have a thought tonight and I'm gonna change my Librarian a little. I'm gonna remove the Emperors sword and give him a bigger one with flames. A very good question. atm, I am running one, latched to a SR armed with the TL heavy flamer + DCCW/HFlamer. I'm thinking he can fly along and take something out all on his lonesome, or supplement a multi unit attack from the deployed termies. I'm using that Salamander/Melta arm for the heavy flamer "counts as". It's quite cool looking and can double as something else should I need it to. If the real question you are trying to ask is whether or not the awesomeness rating of your army can be increased with Contemptors, then rest assured the answer is "Oh yeah, baby, BIG TIME!" ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
