LPC 2012 - Captain Semper's vow

The packs on the bikes' front wheels are a great touch, they give your force a true 'military campaign' feel. Real warfare means needing supplies and ammo at hand.

Incidentally, I can see the following conversation taking place among a bike squad:

"Such a lovely idea, to have a picnic on such a bright day, don't you think, lads? These packs definitely brought up the Chapter's spirits"

"Truer words have ne'er been spoken, brother sergeant. Did you bring the cheese like Master Doreanel asked, Lucion?"

"Lion's whiskers, I swear I had written a note so as to remind me of that. That thrice-damned cleaning servitor must've misplaced it."

"You forgot it? Well then, seems like it's an extra go on the neuro-needler for you, tonight."

"Worry not, brother, it's not like Master Doreanel couldn't cut a little on the cheese. At the rate the darned thing goes straight to his fanny, he'll be donning Terminator Armor in a month."

Thx guys! Glad you liked! I will update my Consecrators thread in the weekend to get a bit of daylight...

I hoped to achieve the "long range recon" effect with the bikes laden with supplies. Well a couple of sandwiches won't harm anyone, will they now? :P

Carrying on, here starts the Deimos Rhino!

Quick update:

Just the interior of the Rhino. I dread the moment I have to glue the resin hull... It is slightly bended and they require a lot of attention... Emperor help us! ^_^

You can try putting it in hot/warm water and straighten it manually; just be careful.

Best of luck with it!

PS: Love red monitors; so ominous...

Absolutely beautiful models mate, your painting makes me view the consecrators in a much more favourable light.

Well done on having completed your vow already, you truly are a hero of the unforgiven! I can't say I expected any less from you, and I'm happy to say that I was not disappointed!

Thank you very much gentlemen!

Your encouragement meant a lot throughout this process. Now my entire Consecrator force is 1,505 point big! And the funny thing is, it's not even legal - only ony troop choice there! I guess I have to make the extra effort and do another tactical squad. And its transport. Not to mention the Master of the 8th and some assault guys (see Consecrators thread for details). Oh, and Relic Contemptor I've been meaning to do for some time. And an extra surprise model. Oh, it never ends!

@ Smellyfox: Good luck starting yor own Consecrators - and remember: the more you finish - the better they look!

@ Tengo: more favourable? more? Cell 42 for you pronto! No excuses.

Thx Hex! Actually I followed Uhr's suggestion of hot water and it was suprisingly (to me) easy! The putting together and the gluing (good ol' super glue) was very straight forward. I recommend this kit to everyone - even those (like me) that do not have much expirience with the FW vechicles. Everything fit perfectly. In fact I flirt with the idea of getting myself another one! ;) We'll see...
