I've been absent from B&C for far to long. But it seems luckily I made my come-back just in time for the latest B&C challenge. Perfect timing. So I'll use this thread to post my WiP images as well as previously completed projects.

 

Also I finally got a decent camera and learned how to use it. While my WiP images kinda suck, they will get better from this point on.

I, Rindaris Syn'thrad of Blood Angels kin, vow on the face of my father and the honour of my Chapter to paint and present at least six units on or before the 31st of March, 2012. I promise to provide at least two WIP updates, preferably with pictures, in that time. I vow that if I should the world move on before this is complete I will bear the Signature of Shame and provide the Librarium with an article seeking redemption.

 

My units are thus:

1: The Stormdragon Bad Wolf (a transport between a Stormraven and a Thunderhawk, making for a special local Apoc event), including Datasheet

2: 5-man Assault Squad with Pre-heresy jump packs (Sgt with power fist, specialist with meltagun)

3: TH/SS Terminator Sergeant (already had completed the rest of the squad)

4: Sanguinary Priest for Dracmore (Dante)

5: Master of Arms, Brother Mimir (Tank commander)

6:Two manned Tarantula guns (Space crusade tarantula's I got for a nice deal from ebay)

 

In addition to the models I will at least have a fully completed IA reboot for the Ka-tet of the Ebon Dawn posted for review and updates (can't promise to have that pristine by the end of March).

So I have ALOT of work ahead of me, but I feel quite postive about completing it within the time frame given, and perhaps even adding to my vow as I have in years past.

Ok, verbal WiP update.

Besides the one vehicle my total mini's in my vow are 17, so not really as many as it may seem.

 

#1 Bad Wolf: Got some Baal sponson mounts and used them to get mounts in place for the twin-linked heavy bolters (where the hurricane bolters would be). I plan to cover up the part of the cockpit I've painted and prime the sides tonight so I can get the sponsons done asap. Still waiting on a bits order that involves most of what I entire to use for the rear engine and part of the transport compartment.

 

#2 5-man Assault Squad: Not much progress here, mostly been working on other things.

 

#3 TH/SS Sergeant: Fully assembled, just need to do some touch-up painting before this weekend.

 

#4 JP Sang Priest: Same as #3

 

#5 Tank Commander: Mostly assembled.

 

#6 2 Manned Tarantula: Barely started.

 

#7 Terminator Captain: Most bits ordered.

 

#8 Plasma Dev squad: Found a stellar deal on the plasma cannons, so just ordered those.

 

I'll get pics up once #2 and #3 are done, and I should have some nice progress on Bad Wolf by then as well.
