Here's my WIPS for the LPC. My vow is to complete a Scout Bike and a StormRaven

Here's my StormRaven. It's glued, magnetized (to use various weapons), primed and has a few colors here and there.

The front of the StormRaven, some work has been done inside the cockpit so I can glue the top on.

Here's the already completed Servitor cockpit. The flash of my camera hates the windshield though :(

This is a small conversion I did. I had some extra space marines parts and made a 'Jump Master' to direct the jump from the StormRaven.

Here's my Scout Bike. It's glued and primed but nothing fancy has happened yet

here's the progress....l

With such a large base, I figured I should dress it up a bit. I glued down some Chaos bits, plastic grid and some parts I got from a smashed VCR to make the base look like a wreck (No mercy, heretics  ). I should have primed the bits and the base first, but I didn't get the idea until after I glued the post down.

Mostly finished, Hurricane bolters. They have magnets on the underside, so I can used them or pulled them off as needed.

Work in the cockpit. I had some Servo skulls lying around and decided they would look nice inside.

The Scout Bike gets a bit of love in between base coats of the StormRaven. Nothing major yet

on with the progress........

The layers of red paint continue, but I've reached a point where I can begin some detailing. I've given the StormRaven a name plaque and named it after the famous comet (all my vehicles are named after minor bodies in the solar system).

I want to actually make use of the magna-grapple on my StormRaven. Because of how I modeled the smoke launchers on my Dreadnoughts, I needed to bump out the grapple. I pinned a un-used magna grapple from the Furioso kit, and added a magnet.

Testing the magna-grapple.

The Scout Bike comes along, slow and steady

The Scout Bike gets a bit more attention

The coats of red continue! I've added my chapter symbol (the haloed droplet) and the white drop identifying it as a asset to the 3rd company.

A bit more work is done to the Jump Master.

Hello,

Good work :) Where did you place the pin on the dreadnought? Could you please give some more photos?

Thanks!

thanks!

There isn't a pin on the Dreadnought. There is a magnet on the top of my Dreadnought (normally to allow me to use Searchlights) that connects to the magnet on the magna-grapple.

What I had to pin was a extra magna-grapple on the existing magna-grapple on the StormRaven. The SmokeLaunchers on my Dread got in the way, so I needed to bump out the grapple so the 2 magnets could connect.

My StormRaven is almost done. Here's a pic on my work on the Jump Master.

A few more coats of red and I'll have my vow complete :)

I like thepower fist on the jump master. is it to get the new recruits to jump out of a perfectly good air craft?

mostly I just wanted a hand that pointed out of the hatch and the Power Fist fit the bill (I'm fresh out of the normal power arm that points).

Mostly, I imagined the Jump Master pointing out of the hatch yelling "Move! Move! Move!"

Work continues on the stormraven, but mostly in the form of putting red paint on places that seem to be resisting :ermm:
