Looking back, I wish I had cast his torso to make my life easier, but live and learn I guess! I painted the chapter symbol on my Dreadnought, but that is much bigger - I did find this quite tricky as I really struggle with freehand but overall quite happy with it. Interested to see where this goes... Having dabbled a bit in recreating old-school marines with currently available plastics myself , I've used the Stealer Cult Neophyte web pistol (removing the rear cylindrical bit and the nozzle) + Stealer Cult Acolyte hand flamer (nozzle only) to kitbash a more compact version which looks more like the Rogue Trader-era version. That is a good call on the hand flamer, I shall have a look at the bitz in question. I am going to go with an archeotech pistol from a FW Praetor which is being kindly donated, though I am planning on magnetising him for a hand flamer and a pointy hand (for gaming) @ Vazzy cheers my bro, high praise indeed!
