The Vow

I, Volcatus of the Blood Angels, vow on the honour of my Chapter to paint and present at least one Drop Pod (in Flesh Tearers' trim) and one Furioso Dreadnought on or before the 31st of March, 2012. I promise to provide at least two WIP updates, preferably with pictures, in that time. I vow that if I should fail, I will provide the Librarium with an article and wear the Signature of Shame until my penitence period is done.

First Update

Work and other considerations have slowed me down, but my faith drives me forward.

Alright. So far so good.

Have you thought about ading some sort of OSL to the Screen. Or even just wash?

Thanks.

The background portion of the screen is blended and washed. Albeit rather subtly, and it doesn't show up well in this photo.

I won't be doing OSL on this model. This model is for a friend, and my OSL skills are still experimental and unacceptable to my standards.

Looking good nice start.
Excuse the spelling and grammar it's a product of a public education.

A good start! I'm impressed with the screen/dome in particular.
