Really Sweet stuff here, the Forgefarther is just awesome.

The OSL on your models is very good.

But I have to complain about one thing, need more rust I mean look at my Scar an that's how the should look. ;)

And since you are also Swedish, to close it off. Väldigt fina modeller. :)

But on a more serious note.

The only thing I can complain about is the background, hehe.

Don't be sorry for epic picture spam!

Excellent stuff, they've come out extremely well, the brighter colours like blues and white shine through very nicely to give a wonderful contrast to the black and silver.

For Petros' right shoulder pad, what tint of colour did you use for the slightly purpled hued finish please?

@packe- Rust shows a lack of care for equipment. The iron hands would never neglect their equipment.

What a bad ass kill team! Well done sir, and congrats on winning best painted.

Very nice looking army.

Where did you get the skull & gear bit that fist so perfectly into the top of the sgt's backpack?  I'd like to use it on the IH army I'm working on.

Cheers!  -OMG

Thank you brothers!
@Packe - Tack som fan! Yea the weathering and rust on your models is magnificent. They look so real and raw. Wish i could use your technique on my Iron Hands without it looking like rust. I'll keep to the chipping for this army so the theme can shine through smile.png

@OMG - The back pack is from the Forge World kit : http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Space_Marines/Space_Marine-Infantry-and-Accessories/IRON_HANDS_LEGION_MKIII_SQUAD.html

He is just a mix of that kit and the Immortals smile.png http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/The_Horus_Heresy/Legiones_Astartes/Iron_Hands/IRON_HANDS_MEDUSAN_IMMORTALS.html

@Basswave - You are so right brother! I don't think the Iron Hands even know what rust is cool.png

I’m right with you as I used the same models in my army posted here:

I was specifically asking about the “skull in gear” logo bit that fits perfectly into the center of the circle at the top of the backpack.

Thanks, -OMG

@ Zhoolda

Thanks again :)

You could use it on the lower parts of the legs to simulate dust and grime. But as I said before your models are as good as without :)

Aha! I see smile.png

Well that was a bit tricky. I used a skull from the etched brass and cut out the middle part(the smallest one to the right)

I was looking for something to fit the space... took quite some time hehe http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Etched_Brass/ETCHED-BRASS-IRON-HANDS-SYMBOLS.html

Love your Iron Hands btw! I'v been following your thread for some time now smile.png
