[Hear da Lamentation]

I have posted something similar to this and gave a few suggestions (mine actually didn't involve termies, but WG in power armour). Feedback wasn't great and I was generally a little put off.

However, a very nice friend has bought me the new finecast Grimnar model. Now .... this means I've got to be sticking the great man in at least some of my armies.

I play 1500points, and have the following models (at the moment)
1 Runepriest
3 rhino's / razorbacks / predators
30 powerarmoured models (don't worry too much about individual equipment)
6 bikers
1 TWC, 3 count as TWC
1 landspeeder
15 longfangs (again with the equipment)
5 scouts
1 dreadnaught

I would love to hear some thoughts on what I could do with the models I have. If you really dont think I can get a good Grimnar's Heroes list out of those, I would interested to hear other suggestions of what I should do.

One thing though. I like to be maneuverable .... and I REALLY don't rate lone Landraiders (I just think they are WAY to easy to pop nowadays and are horrifically expensive).

OK,so I have come with a few thoughts, here is one of them (at 1500, I just cant see the termie option fielding enough troops, so I keep going back to PA WG).

This list is a lot more shooty than I would normally do, and a LOT less maneuverable. I have never played a footslogging army - and I am worried about the lack of powerfists in this ..... but what do you think?

One key thing I've noticed straight off - you haven't put who's in TDA and who's in PA so people can't give the advice they may want to, also I feel your combi-weapons are rather limited, whereas having a mix of combi-plasma and combi-melta would give you the means to take on other TDA armies (Deathwing/TDA Heavy Smurfs) and give you a punch against Mech armies.

Ok, thanks for feedback. Only the cml wolfguard are in termie armour, everyone else is.in pa.

I know what you mean about plasma guns. It's a good point which i'll have a think about

I would echo the suggestion for adding a Combi-melta and a Combi-plasma into each pack. I like the idea of the CML termi in each pack instead of a vehicle. Lots of shooty, maybe not enough offense however. Like you commented in my thread, maybe a second TWC pack would be a good addition. Having a Power Fist can also be very important for you. I think the TDA Fist is cheaper for you (I don't have my codex with me). I kit my TDA CML with a PF and a SB.
