To be honest I was hoping for something a bit more juggernaughty, I just think it needs some serious armour plating to take the weight of a marine. The fenrisian wolves I think choas hounds still look better but thats just me. As sculpts I think they are nice, I was just hoping for something less fluffy.

Good find!

The puppies are all really nice; looks like they fixed the problems with Canis' TW for these, and I see some new gear, heads and torsos for the sprue.

My favorite is the break-dancing fen wolf up front.

Arjac looks good from the distance, so that might have to be a future purchase as well, and Ulrik finally coming off the OOP list will be nice.

I'm a little baffled that they expect anyone to pay $25 for that standard bearer, and $20 for what I can only assume is a finecast 2nd edition Terminator Librarian,

After looking at the closeups, I agree, wish they were stockier, like my Dandy's. That said, the sculpts are nice and lots of different poses and the faces look MEAN!. And look! A thousand sons head! Score!!

After seeing closeups the actual thunderwolves are nice dynamic sculpts, but in terms of a space marine riding on top of them in teh bitter cold of fenris, I still think that golden demon juggernaught entry looks far more appropriate. Wolves are still nice too but a bit too cute for my liking, I like the less obvious wolf look that you get from chaos hounds.

tbh with how long its taken them to get round to these releases i'd have hoped for re-modelled ragnar and ulrik. it just says repackaged when i'd really been hoping for more effort. The codex bigs up heroes then leaves us with some of the most static and outdated character models in the game.

I get your points guys, but I'm just glad that they don't look like Fangir personally. Not sure what your opinion about that model is, but I'm not a fan of the massively cybernetic wolf idea. I really like these ones, as its just a big cuss: off wolf!

My problem with Fangir was his pose. Too stiff and upright. And since he is metal too hard to convert (for me). I think the bigger and more cybernetic the better. It meshes better with the ultra genetic, mechanical terror that is a Space Marine.

Yeah. I picked up a Finecast one early last year, and you're right. It's almost like it's Canis taking Fangir to some weird kind of cross between Crufts (a dog show for those that havent heard of it) and a parade paddock for horses.

If i look at the pic it has a longfang like logo on it so i doubt it
