Skjorn was once a well respected Wolfpriest but in a battle against traitor guard he lost his wulfbrethern to a cowardly battlecannon shell. He somehow survived and in doing so he has sworn to take revenge, forgoing all that he knew as a Wolfpriest he accepted the curse of the Wulfen.

He would have become a bestial wulfkind but fate had something different instore. By pure chance of luck (as some would call it), he over came his bestial rage and took it a step further. He has learned how to unleash his bestial side during battle, changing from a powerfull warrior into an even more powerfull beast of destruction.

Skjron the Lone Hunter: (elite) 185 points
Ws: 5 Bs:4 S:4 T:4 W:2 I:4 A:3 Ld:10 Sv:3+
Ws:7 Bs: 0 S:5 T:5 W:4 I:5 A:4 Ld:- Sv:3+

Wargear:
Normal: powerarmour, powerweapon, boltpistol, frag/krak grenades
Wulf mode: Powerarmour, Wulf claws, frag grenades

Special rules:
-fearless, pack of one, a glorious death, beast slayers, Wulf unleashed

Wulf unleashed:
Skojrn can call upon his Wulfen powers whenever he wants, changing from an already impressive warrior into an unstopable force of pure power.
At the start of the turn roll a dice, if the number on the dice is equall or lower than the Game turn than Skojrn changes into his Wulf form using the 2nd profile (prefferably with a long wolf howl) you may decide to replace the model with an alternate version. In this form he gains the benefits from Wolf claws that have an additional d6 vs vehicles (eg Wulfclaws from Wulf mode).
In Wulf mode he gains fleet and any type of attack/ abilitie of the opponent that target him will have no effect, such is his bestial rage that he simply ignores them (eg mindshackle scarabs and Doom of malantai cant be used against him etc etc.)
just as he can unleash it, their might be a chance he reverts back to normal again. At the start of each next game turn roll a dice. If the result is less than or equal than the game turn he reverts back to his normal state, note that this might kill him in the process.

Note: even though it seems rather odd that as a beast he is able to use Frag grenades, just assume that his improved reflexes and senses grant him the same effects as a Frag grenade.

Yes for those who reckognise it, its a combination of Skjörn from Skyrim (companion), Orikhan of the Necrons and a Spacewolf lone wolf.

fascinating…

Not sure if he will be overpowered or not - whether people will want to play against me if I field him or not…but worth some testing I say.

should his BS be dropped to 0 when in Wulf mode?

How besital can he be if he can manage grenades?
" They made you to be untouched by God or mortal. As I cannot kill you, so I curse you, not with death but with life.

I curse you - with the pain of ten thousand days in the Dark Place, with the life's blood of a mage's sacrifice, with Death's authority held in my hands.

I curse you, and I strike your name from history, stripped of arrogance and pride, empty of the self you once knew, gutted of all you are. I take your name and all you have won by the strength of your hand. I curse you for eternity, to find only darkness where once you knew your own face.

And I dub you the Ragged Man."

Grenades are on auto activation mode :D , and bs 0 or 4 doesnt realy make a difference as he cannot use a pistol in wulfmode anyway eg, hands are to large.

neither was I (nitpicking, that is) just thought that if they couldn't field any shooting weapons their BS might ought to be 0…it was a suggestion, not a complaint.

I didnt thought it as being "nitpicking".

The frag grenades were left in due to the thing about who goes when if he should charge into assault, hes a big beast so he supposed to snif out opponents not giving them an oppurtunity to jump on him, instead of making a new rule for that i chose the simple frag grenade solution.

they're big grenades…

…or to be consistent we could just use the frag grenades verbage/rule insert into his rule without mentioning the grenades themselves and say it's part of his special rule?

Thats the idea, but why rework a rule if he has a simpler version with teh wargear.

Suspension of Disbelief - the main thing fan-created things must occupy themselves with when creating new concepts or ideas.

If I look at your character and think "Huh.. He's a beast that you can use grenades?" rather than "Ok, this guy sounds cool and his stats look good.. Let's try him." then something has gone wrong.

Yes, it is an incredibly minor thing in the grand scheme of things but it sticks out like a proverbial sore thumb to me.

I like him but I'd feel that if he transforms into a massive beasty - his S/T should be higher, I'd suggest S7 T6 and Broken PA so 4+ SV, this keeps him in line with a massive beast breaking through the armour his post-human predesescor wears.

just imo. - but overall quite nice, much akin to a 13th Comp. equivi of Bran Redmaw

I wonder who will do the angel coded, jervis and his blandness at everything, or ward making them devout allies to tyranids and jealous of ultramarines

If Matthew Ward writes Dark Angels, there'll be an new Eye of Terror-sized rent in the fabric of the universe around about the Dark Angels sub-forum, as a thousand souls shrivel and die.
