Jump Pack heat effect

Paints:

Mechrite Red
Scab Red
Blood Red
Blazing Orange
Fiery Orange
Golden Yellow
Gloss varnish
Matt Black

On a Matt black base coat paint a layer of Mechrite Red

then follow the diagram in order from bottom to top beginning with scab red:

Gloss varnish over this.

Paint the outer covers of the jet pack to your colour scheme ( DA in my case)

Then lightly drybrush over the nozzle in Chaos black to simulate carbon marking.

It was quite easy given your sound tutorial, however I only have blazing orange but it seemed to workwithout the other orange. I will post a squad picture here once I get them done to showcase your techniques, and encourage more!
