Space Marines Rogue Trader style

Recommended Posts

As per usual, I cannot finish one project before I have to start another! I have the painting bug back after a 6 year absence and have therefore put the Imperial Outpost to one side and started this blog.

Over the past 25 years, I have been trying to get at least one each of every metal Rogue Trader Space Marine released. Thanks to the wonders of ebay, I have around 5 left to get. Whilst keeping an eye on the web, in the meantime, I want to try and paint each of these heirlooms!

Here's a link to a great website, showing all the different older models:

Really nice stuff B. Morgan! Nice to see some miniatures of old (they're older than me some of them...) being given fresh paint and are still being loved. I have a few old RT models myself icnluding the Marine with Bolter 5 unpainted, and the old classic Metal Dreadnought still to be re-painted after cleansing the thick paintjob on it. It feels weird working on some models that are as old or older than me...

Looking forwards to seeing how these guys progress Brother!

This is beyond awesome! I have a few of those models myself, and love every one of them. There is something about the old models that the new ones can never replace. I see afew simple conversions in there too! keep it up!
