For those who haven't heard, there are two World Eaters Audio books coming out this year, those being 'The Butcher's Nails', which is due for May 29th, and 'The Chosen of Khorne' which should be out by September 25th. Though I'm incredibly happy that Khorne's legionnaires are getting more attention, I'm personally put off by the fact that it will be in the form of audio dramas. I love being able to read the story myself, because not only is it easier to take in details, but you don't have to worry about voice acting that doesn't work out well for any number of characters.

Nonetheless, I'm staying optimistic for the time being, especially since ADB wrote Butcher's Nails... ^_^

One last thing: There's another audio drama coming out the same day as The Chosen of Khorne, and even though the Emperor's Children are the stars, World Eaters are apparently featured in it as well! The book's title is Perfection, and it's written by Nick Kyme.

Having already heard Butcher's Nails (bought the mp3 as soon as I could), I can verify that it is indeed awesome. It seems Angron has a slight blood-pressure problem...

to be fair it does suit the theme. World Eaters aren't exactly heavy readers. That being said, I cry that I can't read them, but it does give me something to listen to while doing random deck drudgery on my ship...
