GROUP BUY CLOSED

 

The group buy is now closed. Everyone in the buy has been PMed asking to confirm their order and their totals as well as send me their mailing info and Paypal address. The sooner I receive this info from everyone, the sooner I can submit the order with Chessex. The order will be placed on July 13th and any unpaid orders will be cancelled and removed from the group buy at 11:59pm (EST) July 12th. The last group buy had a 6 week turn around from Chessex to me and about 10 days from me to everyone else in the world (3 days for those in the U.S.)

 

I want to thank everyone for the amazing support for this second group buy, especially with the last second logo change. To say I'm shocked with having another dice order reach over 2000 dice would be an understatement. With the advent of 6th edition making DC entirely GROSS I decided to honour that with custom dice and a whole new branch to my BA army.

 

I ran a group buy prior to this with great success (and TONS of work haha) and I think this time around it will be a lot easier on me as I'm not new to it anymore. We'll be using the same colored dice combinations from the previous group buy for both sets of dice (makes it simpler.)

 

 

Summary:

 

Group buy for:

• Custom 16mm Blood Angel "Winged Blood Drop" and 'X'-ed Skull Dice from Chessex with '6' pip replaced by the winged blood drop or 'X'-ed skull.
   
  
• You can pick between 4 of the listed (and pictured) dice (with each symbol)
   
  
• Price per die is $0.39/DC die and $0.42/BA die (currently. As we get more dice ordered, the price goes down significantly)
   
  
• Shipping is $5.35 domestically (within continental US and all APO orders) and $17 internationally (UK, AUS, CAN, GERM, DEN etc). Additional shipping charge (~$1.00. TBD once we submit order.) will be added to total shipping to cover shipping from Chessex to my house.
   
  
• Payment made through Paypal.
  
  • Domestic buyers pay 4% fee + $0.30 on top of order total to cover Paypal transaction fees

Pricing:

 

10-25 dice: $1.00 per die

26-99 dice: $0.75 per die

100-199 dice: $0.60 per die

200-499 dice: $0.50 per die

500-999 dice: $0.42 per die - BA DICE

1000+ dice: $0.39 per die - DC DICE

 

Shipping:

 

Shipping will be calculated once the group purchase is finished.

 

Shipping from Chessex to my house (where the orders will be broke down and separated and then reshipped to individual members) will be calcaulated once the final order is made and split by the members in the group buy. The last group buy had almost 3000 dice ordered and the shipping per person involved in the group buy was a mere $0.88.

 

Shipping domestically will be $5.35 for USPS Priority Mail small flat rate box shipping.

 

Shipping internationally will be $17.00 for USPS Priority Mail small flat rate box shipping.

 

 

Payment

Money will be collected through Paypal once the final price is settled upon (dependent, of course, on the amount that is ordered.) and will accrue a paypal fee of 4% (5% for international transactions) of the total sent plus an additional one time fee of $0.30 transaction Paypal fee. All Paypal fees will be the responsibility of the sender to pay..

 

 

Time Group Buy Will Be Up

The time frame for this order will be 2 weeks. I plan to close this group buy on July 6th. All totals will be calculated and PMed to each member involved in the group buy. The deadline for money to be collected will be July 12th 2012. After that point, the full amount will be paid to Chessex and the order placed on July 13th. Turn around time from Chessex is approximately 6 weeks (if the order goes over 1000 dice).

 

 

 

So that's that. I'm throwing this offer out on my own in order to help others interested in getting some custom dice of their own, but looking to get them cheaper. As I said before, I'll be ordering mine here shortly with or without the discount.

Your math is incorrect. It's $28.14. Blame international shipping charges for the insane expense.

I have updated the original post with updated totals and prices. While doing this I noticed that I flubbed while copy/pasting the original post from the previous group buy. I had not changed the price per die ($0.39 /facepalm) to reflect the current price of $0.50/DC Die and $0.60/BA Die.

 

I apologize for the gross error and if this changes anyone's interest in the dice, I completely understand and would not blame anyone for backing out.

@Sevenexxes - Going to stick with the blood drop as it is more common in their iconography and far simpler for me to design (I made the 'X'-ed blood drop.

 

@Sp4rky - International shipping sucks... trust me. It's also higher due to the fact that I am using USPS flat rate shipping boxes. Means I don't have to shell out money for boxes (USPS supplies these free of charge) and don't need to figure out individual shipping for each and every individual package (which would make this task very daunting.) If you're from the UK, however, that $17 USD translates to £10.5 as your currency is more valuable than US currency.

You were paying twice for shipping and paypal fees. I'm fairly certain it will be in one flat rate box (he put nearly 100 in mine in the last order), so no need for two boxes :D

Also, for those posting paypal info, it's a tad early for that. I will be PMing all members their totals for confirmation of their order (proper numbers, colors, and logos) once confirmed everyone will reply to their PMs with their Paypal/primary email addy and mailing addy. Once I receive that info, I will send you an invoice via Paypal to which you can pay with your paypal account or (if you don't have one with them) you can simply use a credit card through their service.

 

Joe from Chessex just called to let me know that they were bought out of the velvet Red/White, but he has a few thousand of the OPAQUE Red/White Dice which is a very close match to the velvet. I have updated the thread listing with the picture of opaque red/white (they're actual BA dice ordered in that color.)
