I decided to build a force with a codex while I wait for the new Chaos for my Scourged army.
I decided to go with the arch enemy of my Chaos a LIbrarian and Inqy led Grey KNights force.
Here is what I am thinking

Librarian- TDA, Warding Stave, Brain Mines and Psybolts- not sure on Powers yet but level 3 Mastery
Inquisitor- Power Armour, daemonhammer, psybolts

Terminator squad with daemonhammer champ plus Hlaberds and one Psycannon
10 PAGK- Force Halberds and 2 Psycannons
Inquistor Henchmen- 2 crusaders, 2 deathcult assassins, daemonhost in Razorback (Inq goes with these guys)
Stormraven

Allies-
Primaris Psyker
2 Veteran squads with grenadier, plasma gun and melta gun
In Vendettas
5 Ratling snipers

Any thoughts or suggestions?
Really i am going for an army I like the look of....all the models in the army are favourites of mine (using the Kaskrin for the vets).....I havent played 40k for a 3-4 years so I have no idea how they will perform...the ideas behind the guard is I wanted some Inquistorial Stormies.....the psyker is my HQ and I love the Ratling models....having said I am open to suggestions on re jigging the list!

Is 40K sucha a closed shop? On two forums I have not had one reply with even a little bit of advice......fair enough....back to lurk mode

i thought 2 HQ units was max, so limit the list to one from GK and one from the allies.

The problem with commenting on lists such as yours, is that you seem to have made your mind up already ? You want to play with your favourite models, which is absolutely fine of course.

For what it's worth, I think the list needs work. As the fliers start in reserves, from turn one you will have :-

Librarian
Inquisitor
5x Terminators
10x Strikes
Henchmen in Razorback
5 Ratling snipers

They're all slow and don't have much shooting over 24". You're likely to have to weather 1-2 turns of shooting before your fliers come in. I'd recommend dropping the Stormraven (and the Ratlings - they don't add much), and add to your on table force. You could try mechanising Strikes (giving you mobility and shooting over 24"), or if you want to footslog, add ranged firepower. A Leman Russ or Dreads would help here.
