I recently started playing a campaign, mainly against orks, dark eldar, siege vanguard, eldar, krieg death korps, and tyranids. I'm trying to come up with decent anti-infantry lists to use, because I've been crushed by an Ork horde and a death korps army with artillery and breaching drills. So far I've got:

750pts:

Librarian - 100

5 Tactical Marines - 90

5 Scouts - 75
Snipers

8 Sterngaurd - 240
Drop Pod, Meltagun

8 Sterngaurd - 245
Plasma Gun, Drop Pod

For 850 add 4 extra Sternguard

for 1k add 1 Dreadnought with an Assault Cannon and Storm Bolter also in a Drop Pod

For 1250 add a 5 Man Vanguard Veteran Squad with Jump Packs, and 5 more tactical marines with a Flamer

for 1500 add in 5 Terminators with an assault cannon
