Again, it's nothing that isn't my own damn fault, and it's not dramatic - I didn't lose my job or house or car or anything. I was just expecting some money to come in that isn't now, leaving me scrambling to pay bills and figure out gas and food money for the next few months (not to mention the Nagash book and model pre-order placed at the local store back when I was expecting to start the school semester with a hefty check instead of an equally hefty bill). Sorry to hear. You put a lot of hard work into those models too. Eh, if they go to good homes that's good enough for me, which is why I figured I'd mention it here first before bothering with ebay some time in the next week or so. Lord knows they'd see more table time with anyone else. And I'm not gone gone. I don't expect to sell everything, I'll still have stuff to work on here when the 40k bug strikes again, and if I do manage to sell everything then that'll just mean a fresh start when I'm able to pick the game up again, though that's going to be a bit longer than I anticipated. I mean, it's been a while since I went on 40k hiatus, and I've still been lurking and commenting here and there. It's going to be a bit longer than I expected before I can pick up ADB's new Black Legion novel (maybe a christmas gift to myself?), but I'll be sure to post my thoughts on it when I do. Probably around the time the next codex is released.while im currently downsizing my csm collection a bit, and giving 40k a bit of a break, i have started work on getting my haphazard box of undead legion stuff assembled and painted. Sception Posted October 28, 2014 Author Share Posted October 28, 2014 A TALLY OF DEATH My finances continue to be in a state of misery, yet the hobby lust driving me to expand my Undead Legion in fantasy continues unabated. Already the painted plaguereaper and Forgefiend, along with a few unpainted bits and bobs, have been traded off for assorted undead monstrosities. Among those additions was a box of the fantastic new Morghasts, which are simply amazing, and I find myself desperate to add a couple more boxes to my collection. As such, I once again turn to my Chaos Marines in search of extraneous doodads to ditch. Please feel free to look below, and if there's anything that interests you, let me know. Primarily I've been trading stuff off to people at the local store, But I like you folks here, so I figured I'd at least offer. With the changes to heldrakes recently I just don't see myself running two of them, and if I had to pick one to keep it would be melanchthon, the more dragon-like of my conversions, and the one that motivated the project in the first place. As such, I just don't see myself finishing this conversion, so if one of you would like a crack at it, I'd love to see someone else finish it. Note that there there has been little progress since this point, only gluing the toe talons on, so the conversion still needs: 1) Some greenstuff fleshiness blending some of the pieces together. 2) Something for the back of the tail in place of the ball joint currently there. I'll throw in a few bits I had been thinking of using. Moloch would be provided as described above, along with one bonus item as described below. Asking price is a single box of Morghasts. At the same time, there's no way I could bring myself to repaint him (though I'd hold no ill will if you did). I'm really proud of him, especially the basing work, but he's just not seeing the table time he deserves with me. Maybe he will with one of you? Unfortuately, it came to me second hand, and is very beat up. Theres some damage on the top hatch, one of the lascannons is missing (a non-land raider lascannon is included for repair conversion work, shown above), the door hinges were broken, so it is glued shut, doors do not open. Imperial eagles on the treads have been dremelled off, but nothing has replaced them yet. In short, it requires a lot of work, and I just don't have it in me. Also included are two chaos rhinos, both assembled and primed black but otherwise unpainted, both with magnets set into the chasis for options (options not included), but with some damage to their roof from spikey chaos fences that had to be removed due to damage. If you're interested, just ask, and I'll get some pictures of them. Asking price is, again, one box of morghasts. Bonus items: along with any of the above, I'm throwing in one of the following, as an extra thank you.
