The model is now in the spray shop getting primed :smile.:
Update tomorrow.

As a ps... just signed up for the German version of Conquest and also found a shop with 2 copies of issue 1... sufficed to say that those two copies are no longer available ;)

I'm a blutack fan myself.

Lostrael used greenstuff then pulls them apart later.

I might do that in future.

Whatever works best for you... I will not judge ;)

WIP Dark Angels Repulsor Executioner

End of week 1

Guns, detailing, decals and weathering still to do plus I need to remove the Techmarine's head as it drooped while the glue was drying :sad.:

Excellent work on the Repulsor Executioner. Did you magnetize the turret so you may switch the weapons mounted?

Thanks :)

Ā

Did not need to. I did the same method as I have used on my Leman Russes. The turret base is a snug fit to the upper so it holds well.

Strange for me is that there are no magnets on this at all :P

Dark Angels Repulsor Executioner completed.

Initially I was not going to go down the magnet route, which is not normal for me, but in the end I ended up magnetising the main gun which was the only weapon swap available on the model.

Priming was done using Rattle cans

Base: GW Black

Green: Army Painter Angel Green

Metal: Tamiya TS-42 Light Gun Metal

Then a Goblin Green drybrush to bring up the edges. The red is Scab Red with Agrax wash highlighted with Blood red.
