Might have to give it another coat. The other thread only has one photo as it was just to show that the vow was complete. elmo Posted July 10, 2013 Author Share Posted July 10, 2013 So - after 3 days of ork convershun klinic (chop and pray to the Emperor) I have managed to do: Drill out barrels and exhausts Watcher from the DW box - sword removed, right arm removed and resculptured in greenstuff to hold the DV Company Master's helmet. Azrael- New powerpack - standard fitted Head from RW cmd box Chaplain (DV RW Sgt)- Head removed and hood reformed to fit the DV Chaplain helmet Chainsword and hand removed DV Chaplain's Crozius Arcanum cut and reglued to realign the head New power pack Techmarine (RW biker and loads of bits) - complete pain! Removed seat backrest and refitted 5mm to the rear to allow space for the Servo harness Fitted 2 bags (from scouts) over rear wheel and canvas roll over rear wheel Servo harness cut into little bits and reglued/greenstuffed into new positions more relevant for the biker pose The finecast Servo harness had bubbles all over - fixed with liquid greenstuff Still needs greenstuffing under handlebar holding arm Planning to primer spray them on Sat so need to get back to work Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The biker techmarine...mind boggling. VERY VERY VERY nice :) Congrats! Don't really like the watcher...the "peeling/scorched" effect on the paint is not one of your best.... elmo Posted August 16, 2013 Author Share Posted August 16, 2013 As the ETL is now complete it is my sad duty to tell my fellow Brothers that I will be taking a break from The Rock for a couple of months to concentrate on my Tau (damned blue skinned Xenos). Don't worry as I will be back painting my Dark Angels after I have reduced my Xenos painting backlog down a little (some of the models date to before my DA where even a gleam in my eye) as I still have far too many to paint (another company is in the pipeline at the moment)! I will still be wandering around the halls here so I will not be completely absent and I may complete a random model or two as the fancy takes me as the LR Ares still awaits my attention. Once the Tau are done I will be back with a vengeance!
