Celestine Count as question.

Built my Celestine count as prior to 6th. She is wielding a scythe. Fits two handed discription, but its a scythe. Typhus FAQ says scythe counts as unwieldy. Now Celestine's FAQ says her weapon is a sword. Is my count as legal?

I would not have a problem with your model. After all, no matter what it looks like the Ardent Blade is an "unusual power weapon" with unique rules. It may look like a scythe but it does not get +2S, AP2 nor unwieldy.

Since she's a Special Character, and therefore has no wargear options, it shouldn't be confusing for your opponent. If someone complains about it, they'd probably complain about any converted special character.

Mine has an Impaler and a Bolt Pistol, so... ^_^

"Counts as" in its purest form I think as Celestine's rules are very specific and as a unique character there shouldn't be any complaints. At least not justified ones.

 

As an additional note I don't see a problem with not having the correct weapon as not everyone has had time to replace model arms/weapons/etc yet. As long as everything is made clear before the game it should be fine.
