darkwrath
Yes, yes, yes. So much win. Cloak looks excellent and the thinned down down hips worked a treat, not much else to add, as you've already said it's very wip. Big thumbs up so far though buddy :D
Corvus_Danseur
So so much epic goodness here. A serious inspiration. I'm going to have to go back and look again at my veterans!
BrotherJim
Magnificent the W.I.P shots are appreciated especially, for instance, when you get around to doing his hair ;) ;) So milliput and green stuff hey, when over due that I look into that. Corvus_Danseur
Also realised that I have a Ravenwing sword in amongst a bunch of bitz I bought off Ebay recently. PM me if you want it, be happy to contribute ;).

Dosjetka
Re: the sword. If you'd like, I could send the Company Master from the DV box your way. He's got a nice sword that looks like Mephiston's sword (more or less) and I have no plans for the model. Just PM if you're interested.

Blindhamster
I've been promising an update for a little while... he still has a number of areas to finish (sword, rivets on the hood, horns on the skulls, some bling on his belt (syringes, buckle, loops for it to stay on the coat), but i'm pretty happy with how he's turning out! I don't have decent lighting or a camera where i am, so these will have to do

Greyall
Godallmighty, that's astounding. Though I hate that sword design, but since that's a personal thing, it doesn't dent your conversion even a bit. Brilliant, man :)
Dosjetka
Aye, not keen on the sword either (so if you want a new one, my offer still stands), but the rest is terrific!
Tyrannicide
GW cast this man's flawless sculpt already. Impressive stuff, mate. Can't wait to seem him painted up!

marine7312000
This is what I dislike about coming to the board. Seeing awesome models like Mephy and not having the skill to create something as epic. Back to my bits box for kitbash stuff.

LutherMax
Looking very good – worthy of Calistarius! The sword is too long though IMO – it's longer than he is tall!!

Lorenzen
Looking good dude, but.. I still think you could do a better job on the arms they look too chunky imho.
Primarch83
That sculpt looks extremely good. Be proud cheers
Blindhamster
I disagree on the arms tbh lorenzen, they are about as thick as the wrist of a regular marine, possibly a little thinner, if they were much thinner the hands start to look too large. I will go back and replqce the sword and finish off the other areas though
Lorenzen
I know what you mean and think if youd used regular marine legs the arms would probsbly look fine but with astoraths legs they look too wide (the whole arm not just the gs parts) his calves look smaller than his forearms. I think you could potentially taper the vambraces so they became a little thinner near the wrist and off set the "thickness" but its up to you. Blindhamster
I'm seriously considering bulking up the lower legs, tweaking the arms and sculpting feet... Thoughts?
Tyrannicide
I think bulking the lower legs would definitely impose a more intimidating figure, but at the same time you could bring the arms more in line with the sleek aesthetic and use thinner Mk. IV ones.
