current view from the front. I am working around finishing off the details before I add the weathering. I still have the back and the right side left to do.

Venerable Dreadnought- I intend this to be my next vow for the ETL if I complete my first one.

Hey, first of all, thanks for taking the time to go through my DIY thread and comment.

I think you're doing some great things on these models- the little icons and details you're adding are spiffy.  The displays for your infantry are coming along nicely as well. The sicaran is shaping up as well- although I think your highlights need to be slimmed down some; they are rather thick in terms of line width currently.

Keep it up brother!

I like what you have done with the twin linked flamers but personally I'd have put them side by side (but only if they are the same model flamer) or put the smaller one at the top. The reason is that the fuel tube of the longer one hangs in the line of fire (literally) of the shorter one below.

At the end of the day though it's what you are happy with and I'm sure it'll look great if painted like the tank

First of all thank you for your comments.

@ The_Chaplain

After looking at the pictures I see exactly what you are talking about. I plan to go back and fix those after I've finished the details.

@ deathspectersgt7

Thank you. Quite an impressive force you have there yourself.

@ UltraRich

The heavy flamers are actually staggered and the bottom one is offset to the right. Hard to tell from the pics. They also are not the same heavy flamer model. I had searched the GW site and forgeworld an realized that there isn't a twin-linked heavy flamer for a dreadnought so I made my own from my bits box. I plan to paint the dread in a scheme somewhere between the tank and my infantry models. Thank you for the view and comments.

Today makes the first day of the second week of my return to college. I am back in school after a 21 year break which slowed my painting progress. Enough about me on to the pics.

Great stuff- I especially like that tank!

Props to anyone who paints that much yellow! We are a special brand of crazy.

I really like the way you use red on the backpacks, too.

Keep it up!

Time for another update.

gallery_48251_4884_638398.jpg

Only thing left to finish is the sponsons.

gallery_48251_4884_1080255.jpg

Also when the sponsons are done, then I have to weather it (which is something I am very nervous about)

And......I finished my second ETL vow. I will not be doing another this year as I am taking summer classes in college (a return after 21 years of military service) and my wife was understanding for the first two, but I think she might not be as understanding for a third. Comments and Criticism welcome.
