I use wire to hold spare parts when painting as well, but for some odd reason I never thought to place it in the barrel for guns. Stealing that for my future projects. That color scheme really stands out as well.

I just ordered my LEGION SICARAN BATTLE TANK from FW.  my wife ok'd for our 15th wedding anniversary.  I'm also in the first stages of a project that I don't think I can post here, but I will post the results as I don't think that will be a forum rules violation.  The only thing I will say about my current project is that it will save me alot of time with my Hounds shoulder pads.  More to come as progress is made.

I received my Sicaran battle tank today.  Its gonna be a little while before I get to building and painting it.  My intent is to make it an ancient relic gifted to the chapter at its founding.  So I'm brainstorming ideas on how to make visually an old favored vehicle.

How have I never noticed this thread before?blink.png

Outstanding stuff, Madwolf. Some of the details look very tribal and almost feral in places, showing off the Hounds' savage side. First-rate! thumbsup.gif

Can't wait to see how this big ol' tank of yours turns out - looks good so far!

EDIT:

Damnable typo. wallbash.gif
