OCTOBER, UPDATE 1

Finally got the bits I needed to finish building my Chaos Space Marines squad, so here they are:











I am a Dark Angels player at heart, so I figured it would be a nice touch to have one of the Fallen leading the squad. If time permits I can prime them up and start slapping paint on over the weekend, if not then I'll do so by the middle of next week.

November, Update 1.

It's been a crazy month for me, after Hurricane Sandy I got stuck working a lot of extra hours. Next month I'll be able to put in more work on my pledge.

Here are the first 5 of my Chaos Space Marine squad. So far I'm only getting the basecoat done, in December I'll be doing the details:

November, Update 2.

Here's a quick look at my Chaos Lord of Slaanesh. This was my first time using the new Imperial Primer technical paint from Citadel, and it works really well. I'm not a fan of priming models by hand, but due to the cold weather I won't be able to spray paint anything until February. I'm still working on a back story for my warband, so right now this Lord has no name or title.









The sword and helmet are from the new Chaos Biker upgrade kit. They come in FINECAST, so I was wary at first, but my pieces look fine. Now that this hellish month is finally ending, I'll be able to producing some real results in December.

I like that Chaos Lord of Slaanesh, you have there. Specially the helmet, so far I love your army can't wait to see more! Keeep it coming!

December, Update 1.

This month has been another mess. Next time I need to commit to just one army instead of three. Here's the basecoat on the second squad of Chaos Space Marines:






A few touch ups needed, but that will come before detailing. Next will be my Chaos Lord. I will be able to concentrate on finishing him up today.

Here's my Chaos Lord, with some details added on. Might be able to finish him before heading out to celebrate tonight, but if not then after I recover from my hangover tomorrow I'll get back to work.





I'm pretty sure I'll be using a silver for the details in the armor. I'm using the Privateer Press P3 paints this time around, the color I will be using for the armor detailing is Cold Steel.
