I'm back. 

 

Haven't stopped painting from the last moment, just haven't done photos.

 

Here's a sneak peak of a newest addition to the force -- 5-man assault squad. Finally got myself a lightbox.

The recipe is rather simple:

 

1. Basecoat Caliban green

2. I airbrushed Vallejo Sick green, but you can use warpstone glow, basically the same color, don't spray heavily, just to give a nice shading

3. Wash the recesses with Nuln Oil

4. Edge Highlight with Vallejo goblin green

5. At this point or during any of highlighting steps I selectively wash some panels or recesses with Nuln Oil

6. Final spots and very thin lines with with Gauss Blaster green

Soo much good stuff lately, We're spoiled with beautifull armies. Your armour, cloth and highlights are fantastic!

 

The wheels on your bikes could use a bit of dust though, they look so clean and flat compared to the rest of the highly detailed miniatures.

Beautiful work! I love the glow from the jump pack burners, but I especially love the detail work you put into your guys. In particular, those claw marks on the beakie helmet. Awesome!

The Techmarines will be appalled at the rough driving though. ;)

Man; that thing is gorgeous!  The lighter weathering on the edges and the brass, in addition to the mud, give off an early-winter warfare, with frost forming on the metal and ridges. The techmarine peeking out of the top just adds to the character of the model.

Hi guys,

 

Started to work on my Dark Imperium Primaris marines.Painted the first one as a test. Base and decals when the whole squad will be complete.

 

 

Edit: I absolutely love these big kneepads, planning to add something on a right knee for every guy.
