Warmaster Horus Lupercal Praetor Paragon blade and iron halo Legion champion Power sword, refractor field, artificer armour Command squad Standard with power weapon, power weapon and plasma pistol, power fist Legion veteran squad (count as troops due to Horus) 10 men, power weapon, meltagun x 2, rhino Legion veteran squad (count as troops due to Horus) 10 men, power fist, meltagun x 2, rhino Legion terminator squad (count as troops for capturing objectives) Power fist x 2, chainfist x 2, reaper autocannon, 4 combi weapons Apothecaries x 3 - Augary scanner - joins heavy support squad - Augary scanner - joins legion tactical squad - No extra equipment - joins command squad Contemptor talon (2 contemptors) - Twin linked lascannons x 2 - Plasma cannon, power fist with plasma blaster Legion tactical squad 20 men, extra close combat weapons Land speeder with a multi melta (can outflank due to Horus special rule) Land speeder with a multi melta (can outflank due to Horus special rule) Land speeder with a multi melta (can outflank due to Horus special rule) Heavy support squad 6 men, missile launchers x 6, flak missile upgrades Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Nehekhare Posted November 1, 2012 Share Posted November 1, 2012 I take it that horus deepstrikes with the termies and the speeders, rhino vets & contemptors support the tacs, footsloggers have FnP? seems okay, quite low model count (elitist) and not that much dakka, but capable of solid precision strikes, like good sons of horus should be! I'd swap the reaper and fists for combi-plasmaguns, though: increases their capability to delete a target in one turn, horus is already a beast in CC anyway. some way to deliver the CC command squad would be nice (maybe swap a contemptor for a LR?), as they will get shot up, badly. not sure if the champion isn't a bit superfluous.
