I've been asked to paint Dark Angels half from DV starter set.

Here's few shots of completed Termie and bases, as well as few WIP squadmates. Not my usual style of painting, but I'm always open to new tricks and techniques smile.png

Yep, bone base colour is made using an airbrush. I don't quite understand - what colours or what airbrush to recommend?

Airbrush - cheap (like ~20$) dual action gravity feed one , I'm sure you can find something like this on ebay.

Colours - I mainly use Vallejo paints from Model Colour range. Shadows (sprayed from below) - Flat Earth, highlights (sprayed mainly on top) - Iraqui Sand, then Pale Sand and then White. All of this was followed by coat of glass warnish and oil wash (burnt umber). I highly recommend watching

as well as checking the whole channel, very informative and inspiring (you can find oil wash tutorial there, too).
