Today was a beautiful day for priming

Other than the one remaining converted CSM squad with Meltaguns, this is all of my Crimson Slaughter Warband now primed. I've used Army Painter Dragon Red Primer.

This is the Warband as it stands:

Chaos Lord

Chaos Sorcerer

Chosen x5

Chosen x5

Raptors x5

CSM x10

CSM x10 (still building)

Cultists w/Autoguns x20

Cultists x10

Cultists x10

Cultists x9

Helbrute

Forgefiend

Heldrake

I am a bit annoyed... I seem to have lost a Cultist... One of the Melee Cultists...

Now, I just need to figure out a way to convert the many Chosen I have left over into Havocs... hmmm.....

When I see an army like that all primed and ready for paint something in me goes ahhhh.........

Lol.

  • 2 years later...

So, I guess it's never too late for Thread Necromancy. After my dissolution with 6e, and my complete withdrawal from 40k with 7e; 8e has at least peaked my interest once again. In doing so, I'm looking at my armies with a look at either restarting or selling off, depending on how my depression allows. The last 3 years have been the worst for me, despite being on 3 separate antidepressants and 2 sleep aids... I did get back into hobbying briefly with Age of Sigmar (love the game, and partly why I am looking at 40k again),  but with growing medical issues (compounding the depression), I've even fallen off that hobby train...

I did take some pictures today, in either hopes of finishing and playing again, or in preparation of finding them a new home. I thought I would share with the community despite the beleaguered state it finds itself in... My old pictures dont seem to show anymore, and I'm sure it never got updated with the last few things I was working on after my last post.

Please excuse the dust...

I've got 4 minis finished, though I need to rework their bases I think.

Kranan never got beyond this point and still has a ways to go before being finished.

I briefly added some base coats to the three spawn.

And my Fantasy Warriors of Chaos Prince has been repurposed for 40k (very much still WIP)

And there we are. I dont know where I am going from here, but it's at least documented. If I ever get a break with the depression, then maybe I'll get back working on it. Either that, or I can find them a new home without losing too much in the process...
