Today in the hobby I....

Today I'm seriously contemplating an extended vacation from my 40K armies to explore Age of Sigmar. My Onager Dunecrawler assembly line really burnt me out and I'm having trouble mustering up the energy to start my next project. I think a Fantasy warband would be an interesting distraction. :)

YITH I finished assembly and basing on my Skitarii Vanguard and Onager, a few dirty Xenos, and was informed by my girlfriend that she intends to treat me to a Stormhawk Interceptor on Saturday :) Yay for free plastic!

Today got me a Games Workshop drill and a lot of 1 mm steelballs.

It was not as hard as I feared it would be and I am happy with my first attempt.

Where did you get those little ball-bearings, if you don't mind me asking?

Decided to build an Astartes for each of my brothers. One's a Blood Angels fan;

And the other a Space Wolves fan:

I apologise for the potato quality.

In other news, I gathered up a good stack of my current 'to-do' list.

That's probably the most I've ever had to build at one point, and that's leaving aside my 40k Chaos, and all three of my 40k loyalist chapters. And then there's about twenty-five IF Legionaries missing too. Still, by the Emperor's Grace, I REGRET NOTHING!

TITH I bought a Rogue Trader-era Vindicator. For 25 bucks. That formerly belonged to the Iron Warriors. That'll be joining my Imperial Fists.:biggrin.:

Yeah... :tongue.:

Make sure you name it "Spoliis"

TITHI Started doing the finishing touches to my second (of three) sixteen man legion tactical squad

That's good,  I might have to do that. Perhaps Spoliis Fidelis, the War Spoils of the Faithful. Yeah! I like that. Thanks, mate!

Anyways, TITH I disassembled a Rogue Trader- era Vindicator. I dread the clean up process, considering it's current condition. Superglue everywhere.

TITH the Dreadnought whose legs I reposed a couple of years ago, and which has sat on a shelf unpainted ever since became useful once again... but when picked up fell apart in two different areas of the lower body. :|

I really want the ETL to start now. I have the models I want to do for it prepped and ready to go, but I have to wait 6 more days (and some interviews I'm preparing for... so even more time). Still, have six Beserkers and a Maulerfiend to finish first that can't be used for ETL, so there is that...

Today I built the lower half of a Knight Titan and my builder ADD has come to fruition with three other projects on my table.

Gonna be a long year.

Today after realizing I would never use a Knight Gallant I decided to push my conversion skills and start a plastic Cerastus Lancer.

A bit nervous but I think I can pull it off.

Today in the hobby I joined ImageShack.us to upload pictures for Ulthuan.net... and found out I won't be able to upload new pictures thirty days from now without subscribing. I guess it's a good thing I've completed all my Warhammer Fantasy Battle models for a long time...

I would suggest DeviantArt. Stupid policies and sometimes obnoxious users, but you can always get people giving feedback on your stuff if you want.
