Hello!

As the title suggests I'm looking to either start or join a campaign in any of the 40K RPGs.

I've had a little experience playing on Deathwatch and Rogue Trader, but since I've moved down from Scotland to England I'm struggling to find a group to play with.

I've tried posting on the Wakefield Games Workshop facebook page but it seems to be a complete dead end.

I work office hours but any evenings or weekends I'll be free for a game.

I live in Castleford and work in Barnsley so anywhere within driving distance of those would be ideal.

If I manage to find enough people who are looking to start a campaign I'm more than happy to buy a rulebook to get started, although I would prefer if someone else GM'd as I've no experience GM'ing a game.

So, if you or someone you know is looking to get started or need a new player in one of the RPGs give me a shout

I know how frustrating finding no player for your RPG campaigns is. You cannot even imagine how difficult for me was to gather two other players and I have a lot of friends who likes 40K.

Sadly I don't live near your area, in fact I live quite far away on the continental Europe but I wanted let you know I know how you feel when you look for players and you reach dead ends.

Yeah its pretty poor considering how fun the games actually are. I'll just need to ask about throwing a notice up in the local GW store and hope I get a few hits from that, doubtful, but worth a try.

Before I moved I played deathwatch with some guys from university, 4 players and the GM worked really well, allowed us to draw from quite a few specialisations, but kept the party small enough so that games ran a bit faster.

What RPG are you guys playing?

I started with Rogue Trader because I found the exploration inspired style an interesting variation to the standard 40K tabletop games I usually play. Then I decided to start a Black Crusade campaign as well. The Rogue Trader campaign is still on going while the Black Crusade will start soon.

Just for the records Black Crusade is really grim-dark, apparently more grim-dark than any other 40K setting. I found less players because several persons found it actually too much grim-dark.

If I'll find someone to take my place as Rogue Trader GM I'd like to start a Deathwatch campaign as well. I found 40K RPGs amazing... It's sad I underestimated them in the past but now I'm fully enjoying them ;)

Hi Sorry I know this is an old thread, but if you are still struggling to find games there is a new club starting in Keighley soon. Not sure how far it is but it's not a million miles away. If you are interested let me know and I'll forward you there details.
