The axe is indeed a red butcher one, mixed with a terminator thunder hammer, because it wasn't violent enough hehehehehe I'm currently working on a version of every blood angel special characters for a chapter of my own creation, the knights of Valachie. Blood Angels descendants with a huge vampiric inspiration, lots of vampire counts pieces. I"ve done Dante, Mephiston, Astorath, an assault captain and a venerable dreadnought. I really like the helmet and how it reminds me of the old GW Night Lords helms. Â I must also point out that this thread has been throwing my little creative mind into madness. Awhile ago I finally purchased the Badab War books (I couldn't afford them when they first came out) and have been debating on what to build for my Space Marine army. One day Carcharodons, then Executioners (Thulsa Kane had been rocking my socks), now I am back to try Astral Claws for a third time. Just want to say thanks for this insanely inspirational thread. Thanks bro' Arkash is basically this Warrior of Chaos Lord : http://www.beastsofwar.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Chaos-Lord.jpg The head is from the space wolf sprue, a crested one, the axe is from the Space Hulk Librarian, aaaaand that's all, the rest is green stuff ^^ And a little break from all those marines, a Squat ! as i had some fantasy dwarf pieces, i decided to give a try, so here's the result, i have to finish the legs, but still, i present you Galen ironbeard, last of his clan : C and C welcomed ! His features are nobles and calm, hidding the internal struggle needed to keep the black rage at bay.It's only because he is the "facade" of the chapter, that it has not been declared Excomunicate traitoris. Indeed a large proportion of his brothers has a high tendancy to fall to the black rage, and are regularly responsable for some "collateral" damage, like many of their fellow blood angel successors (Who has said Flesh tearer ?).Like the other sons of Sanguinius, they are subject to the blood thirst and the black rage, but unlike their brothers, once they succumbed, they are not necessarily destined to die.Indeed few of them returns, changed... Once returned, they cast themselves apart from their brothers, forming a distinct brotherhood of Knights, the Nosferan Knights.Their mind, du to the trauma as changed. They retain their memory and loyalty, but their former personnality has died during the process. No longer they join their brother to laught and celebrate, everything has lost taste has they are haunted by the vision of their dying primarch, they only find joy in the slaughter of their ennemies.Even their bodies and features change.
