I love you heathens I see rampager legs!!!

be my oath brother!!!

in all seriousness I would love to have you as a oath brother of the XIVth company of the XIIth legion

Sure. I'll make the breach, and you can die in it... :P

woot.gif Awesome! Very promising stuff there 1000 Heathens - maybe you want to give us the big picture? What size of force are you looking at?

Thanks, man! I'm still playing around with the legion army list, and I'm trying to leave my elites slot open for when the Iron Warriors appear in the HH, but I do know that there will be many siege mantlets, melta bombs, and large vehicles that spit big-ass blast templates, lol. As for size, my basic plan is to build until I just can't anymore.

Excellent stuff heathens, Looking forward to seeing much more from you and stealing all the good ideas msn-wink.gif

LOL, steal away! I'm always pround to help and inspire others with my modest works when I can.

How did that cadence go? " King of the battle" minis? msn-wink.gif

Hey, hey Artillery!

Kings of battle, follow me!

Oooh, Iron Warriors. He looks good. I love these beefy plastic arms; where do they come from?

Thank you! The arms are from the new Ravenwing box... lotsa goodies in there, plus I'm a sucker for Mk. VI

Walls will fall!

Dragoons means they will be mounted right msn-wink.gif

You should join me in 30k; your primarch will still be alive, after all....

And damn skippy they'll be mounted! Rock of the Marne, baby!

Bring it on, heathens, I am expecting awesome models! You have quite some experience in painting metal, so I assume these will be of the same quality! ;)

Hell, they're almost the same recipie, lol. I'll probably darken the steel a bit more than my Astral Claws, but still roughly the same.

It's still a toss up, as I won't commit to anything until I've seen book 3 and the Sigismund model. ;)

It would be killer if you tried to fit in some cool Sapper and Combat Engineer easter eggs into the background and models. Like the beards the FFL CEs sport, and the old trench knife/gladius given to field artillery units up until world war one.

If the Death Guard are Infantrymen, the World Eaters are Gladiators, and the Raven Guard are Ninjas, then the IV and VII Legion are Combat Engineers through and through.

Already planned. I have a stockpile of IG shovels from an old project that never got off the ground, reels of razorwire, a whole tupperware bowl of grenades and melta bombs and demo charges and...

Well, you get the picture. Lots of stuff ready to rock.

As for Siggy, I'm sure he'll rock. Look at the Abaddon/Loken diorama, for Throne's sake, lol.

Edit: The Breach-Sergeant is actually one of the first of these specialist squads, thus the hammer-shaped maul.

A close up of Saginaw's sword, a reclaimed Imperial Fist Templar's blade.

Once the weapon of Centurion Augustus of Templar Company, VII Legion, who died an honourless death as his section of the wall collapsed during the Siege of Manassas XI, thanks to the Sapper Platoon. His half crushed body was found in the breach, and Saginaw ended his anguish with his own splintered blade. Now, it is a tool used to hack through razorwire, and gouge holes into redoubt for the placement of large-quantity explosives.

The banner of the FW Black Templar Dreadnought. He'll make an appearance later, but I had no real use for the banner/skeleton, so it got chopped to kibbles. The grip was from a sword in the new Ravenwing box.

Why? Wanna fight about it? msn-wink.gif

gotta say, you never fail to disappoint no matter WHAT Millennium you grace with your vision. I also gotta say, Cavalry troops stick together, I am don with 40K for the most part as well.........losing it's soul and all.

I am going to be getting into HH as soon as I possibly can afford! I just need to pick a legion (I feel a vote coming!) but I think I would like to do a traitor legion this time around as I have been carrying the torch of the Corpse-Emperor for 25 yrs now!

I had thought Iron Warriors but the EC and DG have caught my eye as well.

we'll see. anyway, call me man. we need to chat!

DONE!

Nay, says I. Play loyalists. That way our games would be that much more awesome.

Besides, it's boring when my Iron Warriors don't get to throw loyalist corpses off of the battlement walls I'm building in my game room...
