Ok so over the past six months I've amassed about 4500 points of dark angels (consecrators) and painted them to a decent standard.

I've decided after painting 2 test minis that I will be making a force of Imperial fists so here we are.

Dark Angels.

Not on Badab? You think...

From the Chapters above, i'd go for the Sons of Medusa (not a fan of the cabbage green but apparently you're fine with it). I think it's an amazing backround...

All it took was about 30 seconds of low power Dremel work and some scraping to undarkanugelify them. I'm liking how they are turning out, and I can get more for dirt cheap!

Basically for the dremel all I do is put on a sanding wheel and use it to remove the majority of the dark angels symbol. Then use a hobby knife to scrap off the rest. Quick and easy! Make sure the backpack is not attached to the model first otherwise it makes it hard to get the whole symbol off.

Those are some sweet IF's - I love your yellow. Not too pale and not too orange. I think you are taking the battle damage just a bit (and I mean just a little bit - just personal taste) too far. Other than that, I think they look great.

But to each his own. Thanks for the kind words And that means a lot coming from the venerable Bannus :)

With that epic amount of battle damage it would serve you well to put them on some real nice bases, thinking urban warfare or trench works.  Terrain along that line would make it believable that they would get their armor so dinging up, especially along their knees and toes.
