another update, my first update on the chaos lord on bike, I took the kranon from darkvengeance box and changed him a bit

I guess now that you've put him on a bike, he truly is "Kranon the Relentless".

 

Lovely conversions, I really like the Chaos star objectives, make them total 8 points and if you ever manage to claim themall in a game, you get Daemonhood.

I feel that if the cloak was flowing behind him it would be more dynamic, and maybe move the head to a reading position with the book held out to the side a bit more, like he's doing an enchantment whilst his bike steers itself?

Tried to change the arm around a bit, broke it off and tested, and in the end, I put it right back, it looked wrong further out or further up, and cant really have it much lower than it was.

 

the cloak on the sorcerer isent a cloak but a rope around his legs, like the ones the dark angels wear, you know, he is a sorcerer they have robes on, now I added the 2nd bit on the other side, both flowing out to the sides in the wind, the right side snagging on his bolt pistol. used poster tag to test fit his backpack, used instamold to make a grey stuff duplicate of a real sorcerer's backpack.

 

and added his sheathed force sword.

 

so really hope you like it jaspcat and everyone else, if you do I might get a popular as jaspcat some day ^^

There, think the two are ready for some paint now, finished up the lord today, finishing touches on the cloak, and pretty happy with the result of it, a few updated pictures.

thanks, very glad to hear it, gone ob vacation now wont be back until the 17th of December and then i have to start working on my projects

Hey everyone, hope you have had a good Christmas, I been very busy, been away on vacation for 4 weeks then when I got home a long line of family and Christmas preparations that needed doing, but now I am back,  feeling slightly stressed, have my pledge of chaos to complete and need to build obliterators and figure out my lists for this tournament coming up in couple of months.

 

Then you might think, well its in a few months plenty of time, but I am not that fast and have other things to do too, that and I aim to attend the best in show competition so need to have a high standard on the paintjob too.

 

So much to do and so little time, also really tempted to work on side projects anyway, wanted to build some war hound like defilers and even build a couple  of actual war hounds, I order some of the awesome looking rhino and land raider tracks from Subtle discords' web shop the dark works, and I am itching to use them.

 

I finished building my chaos lord and sorcerer on bikes and the 5 plague marines also built, did the conversions grey stuff.

 

All that needs to be done now is painting it all up.

I had the same trouble with pictures, if you look in the technical/bugs forum you should find a solution.

i had to download firefox, it was something to do with explorer being crap at life.

first i like to say thanks alot, very happy you like it, the lord was just taking the DV lotd cutting him to bits and then glueing him back toghter slightly diffrent, and fill in the gaps with grey stuff.

and always open to ideas and sugestions, you see more of the lord soon with some colours on.

 

and yes the new marines are more of my style of plague marines
