If I may make a suggestion - we may need to start making a master list of the novels/stories that have already been used in our research. That way we don't have to go through the same publications again and again when someone else has already done it.

To give proper references:
"As the early decades of the Great Crusade progressed, and the first of the Primarchs were found, the XIIth Legion was broken up temporarily into a number of independent sub-commands, each several thousand Space Marines strong. The largest of which, at some 8,000 War Hounds, along with some dedicated assault and fleet support elements was dedicated the 13th Expeditionary Fleet, or the 'Bloody 13th' as it became quickly known."
-- Betrayal, pg 86
"By the year 833.M30, the XIIIth Legion had increased in number to an active force of around 33,000 Space Marines, whose primary battle group now consisted of the autonomous 12th Expeditionary Fleet."
-- Tempest, pg 73

In 'Wolf King' it's mentioned that the Hrafnkel is a Gloriana glass battleship and the only one in the Space Wolves fleet. Also the Ragnarok, Nighoggur, Fenrysavar and Russvangum are listed as line battleships and presumably the only such battleships left in the Space Wolves fleet after its crippling by the Alpha Legion. The Ragnarok is also captined by Lord Gunn until it's destroyed during the battle with the Alpha Legion. The Iota Malaphelos is also captured during the battle and is now part of the Wolves fleet.

For those of you interested, in the powers of chaos supplement of BFG came the rules for the vengeful spirit ("standard" gloriana class) and the conqueror so you can still play BFG-heresy, nothin more than a buffed battleship back then.
The cruisers are limited to luna class, strike and a chaos if you want to be puritan about the designs.

OK, that's a HUGE necromancy!
HOWEVER, the HH is over - and although the Siege of Terra is still in development, we might try to resurrect this thread and attempt the definitive list of all the ships mentioned in the HH series, now that have every single book!
If there is an interest that'll be great, otherwise, I'll lock this thread...

We now know that the Eternal Crusader is and always was a Gloriana Battleship that the Black Templar's have as their flag ship because it was in the IF fleet during the heresy. I don't know if it had a different name at the time, but...
"Black Legion" by ADB spoiler
anyways, the ship is missing from the IF list. is confirmed to be a Gloriana Class, might have not been named "Eternal Crusader" during the HH, or even the Scouring.
I suspect the EC was assigned to the 1st company "templars" under Sigismund during the scouring if not the heresy but that is merely speculation on my part.

I noticed that this appears to have been missed from Horus Heresy: Betrayal
"Having refused the order to surrender, the Mechanicum Ordo Reductor Galleas Xerxes 9-7-7, a vessel that had joined the fleet late and was not part of the Warmaster's plans, also had to be shot down at considerable cost to its attackers, it's disintegrating hulk descending into Istvaan III's burning skies and lost amidst the flames."
This was the vessel of Magos Reductor Calleb Decima.
I don't see any ships from Conquest onwards, so I might give those a look over later.

Have we mentioned, in the XVIth Legion fleet, the Throne of the Underworld (Horus Aximand's flagship) and the Solar Auxilia ship Thunder Break, attached to the SoH's 63rd Expeditionary Fleet?
