Deathwatch: Chapter Specialties (2 Spec's per character)

If this is a repost, sorry.

 

I was wondering what people thought of the idea of providing to all Space Marines in the Deathwatch game series the option of a Chapter and a Self Specialty.  These two Specialties, such as Assault Marine for all Space Wolves,and one choice for the SM in question, so long as they spend their XP from one single total for both, might prove something worthy of discussion...?

 

Here's the quick version:

 

- One XP total, the provided normal XP

- One Chapter Specialty

- One Character Specialty

- Character has, again, one XP total, but may spend into either their Chapter Specialty, or their Personal Specialty.

 

Any thoughts?

I don't think I follow what you're trying to do. There are already seperate advancement tables for chapters and specialties just as there are the general space marine advances and Deathwatch advances.
