Night Lords 2000 Terror Assault

So I just picked up my Massacre book at Warhammer World and at first I thought I was going to continue to try and make an Emperor's Children army, but then I saw the wonderful options of the Night Lords.

So I hopped on the bandwagon and started throwing a list together.

I love the idea of a destroyer squad in a Night Lords army so that was the first unit I thought to put together, however they are costing me a lot of points.

Also I'm kinda confined to the terror squads due to the Rite of War, which I think is awesome.

I would love some advice on how to either trim some of the fat or change units to be more useful.  I tried a list with 10 heavy support marines with missile launchers but I could only fit a squad of 10 night raptors.

Anyway, here it is.

HQ

Sevatar - 175

Moritat - 160

2x Plasma Pistols, ToJ, Artificer Armor, Refractor Field, Jump Pack

Elites

Destroyer squad - 455

10x Marine, Jump Packs, 2x Missile Launchers, Melta Bombs

Sergent

Power Fist, Artificer Armor, 3x Phosphex Bombs

Troops

Terror Squad - 250

10x Marine, 10x Volkite Chargers

Terror Squad - 250

10x Marine, 10x Volkite Chargers

Terror Squad - 170

7x Marine, 7x Volkite Chargers

Fast Attack

Night Raptors - 350

10x Raptors, 10x Chain Glaives

Heavy Support

Sicaran - 185

2x Lascannon, Armored Ceremite

I'm at 1995 points at the moment but I don't know what to do with the last 5 points

Do you need phosphex, meltabombs AND a power fist in the destroyer squad?

You already have the moritat for low ap shots so you could drop souped up destroyer sarge's equipment

Also drop a couple of chain blades from the raptors - they're probably going to lose a couple of models before any assaults so it'll save on wastage

You're actually 5 points over, the Sicaran in that configuration is 195 points.

Oh thanks!  I misread that in the book

I would swap out sevatar for standard praetor, only 3+ armour and nostraman chaingliave wheras you could take this for the same points

Praetor, cataphractii armour, paragon blade, volikte charger, digital lasers, grenade harness 177

It might just be my opinion but I prefer the praetor

Not a bad idea thanks.  The only thing about Sevatar is his warlord trait which could be useful for outflanking my destroyer squad next to something that needs to die.

Either way they'd both probably sit safely back while everything else rushes forward.

that praetor build is 187 points and for the 175 you could go charger, paragon blade, digi lasers and iron halo. No grenade harness but can sweep and isn't S'n'P.

OR

paragon blade, iron halo and regular bike. Now he's T5 (but a biker in an army of jumppack'n'infantry)
